Cosmic Skyline Cocktail
Cocktail hour has struck – the light blue sky is above, the garden is below, and in between lies the outline of houses and buildings with ever-lengthening shadows stretching out in a yawn that ends the workday with a soft shrug. This calls for something tart and citrusy with an electric color to ring in the nighttime. I give you, the Cosmic Skyline:
2oz Gin (I used Granny’s Gin from LMD)
1oz Cucumber Mint Shrub (recipe below)
1oz Lime Juice
Shake all ingredients. Add 1oz of Cosmic Berry CYBRPUNK Soda to a chilled coupe glass. Double strain the shaker tin into the coupe as well. Garnish with some spanked fresh mint leaves.
Cucumber Mint Shrub Recipe:
3/4 of an English cucumber, peeled and chopped into 1/2″ pieces
Generous handful of fresh mint
200g White Sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1oz Rice Vinegar
Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Cover and leave in fridge overnight. Strain through fine mesh, keep the syrup in a sanitized jar (good for up to 2 months in the fridge).
